Laser
skin rejuvenation is a series of Advanced Fluorescence Technology Light
Treatments that improve the appearance of rosacea, sun spots, age spots, fine
lines, and broken capillaries.
Laser
skin rejuvenation works by passing an intense light in a series of gentle
pulses over the treatment area. Without
damaging the skin, the light penetrates through the skin and is absorbed by the
abnormally dilated vessels or pigmentation.
The heat impairs the vessel or lesion and the body begins its natural
healing process. The lesion will darken
before it flakes off or is absorbed by the body. There is no down time and make-up can be worn immediately after
the procedure.

The treatment involves a series
of sessions, four weeks apart.
Follow-up treatments may be desired once a year to maintain
results. Patients have a high degree of
satisfaction with their results. Many
have seen 70% to 90% improvement. After
successive treatments, the skin will feel smoother and to have a more
even tone.

What is skin rejuvenation?
Over time,
due to the sun, aging, free radicals and lifestyle, your
skin can become dull and uneven with early signs of aging.
Our lasers deliver a series of light pulses that penetrate
through the skin and is absorbed by abnormally dilated
vessels or pigmentation. The heat of the laser impairs the
vessels or lesions and the body begins its natural healing
process.
How will I look after the treatment?
If you have
sun spots they will become darker and then flake off over
the next 7 to 14 days. If you have rosacea, the redness
worsens initially then calms and fades over the next 10-30
days bringing a more even skin tone. You can use make-up
immediately following your treatment and there is no “down
time”.
How many treatments will I need?
Usually 3
treatments, 2 weeks apart are ideal for satisfactory
results.
May I tan before or after my treatments?
No. The sun
is a major reason why this pigmentation has occurred in the
first place. A good SPF 35 sunscreen should be used
everyday, rain or shine. As with all laser treatments,
tanning is discouraged.
Loose Skin
Solution: Firm it up with the Harmony "ST", a
device that uses infrared light to heat the dermis, the deepest layer of skin,
causing the collagen fibers there to contract and rebuild themselves. You will
see immediate tightening of the face and neck after the first treatment followed
by long-term firming after your 3rd treatment. There is no downtime or pain with
this treatment. After treatment, you can go about your day immediately.
Your skin will not be red or peel. This treatment takes about 35 minutes.
